PRIDE FESTIVAL SAFETY & POLICIES

Entrance Policy & Bag Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and secure entry process, Lancaster Pride allows one approved bag per person, which will be subject to search at the entrance. The event entrance is located at the southeast corner of Penn Medicine Park, which is the main stadium entrance.

Approved Bags (One per person):

  • Clear Bags smaller than 12” x 6” x 12”

  • Wallets, fanny packs, and purses smaller than 4” x 6” x 1.5”

  • Medically necessary items, including diaper bags (subject to inspection)

Prohibited Items:

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind

  • Knives or sharp objects

  • Pepper spray or other chemical irritants

  • All other bags not listed above

  • Outside food or drink

  • Signs of any size

  • Pamphlet distribution materials

Removal Policy

Lancaster Pride reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who violates our festival rules, engages in disruptive or abusive behavior, or poses a safety risk. Inappropriate conduct may result in immediate removal without warning, and reentry will not be permitted.

Full Event Policies

To ensure a safe, fun, and pleasurable Pride experience for all of our guests, we ask that everyone follow Lancaster Pride’s Event Policies and Regulations:

  • Children’s Sippy Cups & Snacks Policy

    • Pride is for everyone, including families, and we understand that little ones have their own needs! Small snacks and sippy cups for children are allowed at Lancaster Pride. Please note that sippy cups may be subject to a quick check at the entrance. As with diaper bags, we appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to keep the festival safe and welcoming for everyone.

  • Medically Necessary Snacks & Fluids

    • We understand that some attendees may need specific foods or beverages for medical, dietary, or accessibility reasons. Guests may bring medically necessary snacks, drinks, and hydration supplies into the festival. While all bags and items are subject to security screening, we will not require proof of medical need and ask only that attendees limit these items to what they reasonably need during the festival.

  • Pets & Service Animals

    • Pets are not permitted at this festival location. Service animals are welcome at the event, but per the venue policy, may not go on the turf. If you have any questions or concerns about accessibility or accommodations, we encourage you to contact us ahead of the event at [email protected] so we can support your needs.

  • Prohibited Items and Behavior

    • Outside food and beverage is not permitted (aside from the exceptions listed above for children or those with medical needs)

    • Abusive, foul or disruptive language or clothing

    • Alcoholic beverages

    • Coolers, bottles, cans and beverage containers of any kind

    • Clothing containing wires, batteries or other electronic components

    • Drones and any other unmanned and remote-controlled aircraft systems

    • E-cigarettes and Vaporizers

    • Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures

    • Fireworks, firearms and weapons of any kind

    • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or drug use

    • Laser pointers

    • Noisemakers (including but not limited to air horns, cowbells, whistles and instruments)

    • Signs, flyers, or pamphlets of ANY size (excluding vendors and sponsors)

    • Smoking (except in designated areas)

    • Throwing objects

    • Trespassing, soliciting, peddling and loitering

    • Verbal or physical harassment of other guests, including opposing team fans

    • Any other item or action deemed dangerous or inappropriate

  • Additional Turf Regulations

    • No crayons or adhesives

    • No cleats, heels, or anything “pointy” that can damage the turf

  • Entrance and Exit Policy

    • Entrance - The main stadium entrance at the southeast corner of the stadium.

    • Exit - Once you leave the premises, you must use re-enter through the main entrance to get back in. All bags must be rescreened prior to reentry.

  • The Lancaster Pride Festival will run from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. There is no age requirement.

Any violation of Lancaster Pride’s Rules and Regulations or any conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, abusive, harassing, offensive and/or any other action deemed dangerous or inappropriate is grounds for immediate removal from Lancaster Pride without warning. If removed, you will not be allowed to reenter.
