Get ready to show off your Pride — and your pets! 🏳️‍🌈🐾

Join Lancaster Pride for our annual Pet Pride Parade at Buchanan Park for a relaxed, community walk celebrating our favorite furry, feathered, and scaled companions. Dress your pet in their Pride best (and humans are encouraged to join the fun too!) as we stroll together through the park and celebrate the joy, creativity, and connection that make our community so special.

We'll be awarding three special prizes:

Most Fabulous
Awarded to the pet with the most show-stopping look - best costume, most creative styling, or just an animal that owns the park. If they walk in and heads turn, this is their category.

Best Owner-Pet Duo
Awarded to the pair with the best matching or complementary look. Coordinated costumes, matching colors, or just an undeniable vibe between the two - the whole package counts.

Tiniest Participant
Awarded to the smallest pet in the parade. No costume required - just show up and be tiny. A crowd favorite and a great way to celebrate pets that don't usually get the spotlight.

The walk will be leisurely and accessible, lasting approximately 30–45 minutes total. Dogs and cats are always welcome, and we’d love to meet other Pride-ready pets too - birds, ferrets, and more are welcome as long as they can be safely walked or comfortably carried throughout the event.

For everyone’s comfort and safety, please bring only pets who do well around other animals and people, and ensure they are up to date on vaccinations.

Whether you come decked out in rainbow gear or simply want to enjoy a morning outdoors with community, we hope you’ll join us for this joyful Pride tradition.
