Lancaster Pride is excited to co-host a special Pride Collection screening of Moonlight at Zoetropolis Cinema Stillhouse, featuring a pre-film screening of Amish Country Queer.
Before the Academy Award-winning film Moonlight, audiences will experience Amish Country Queer, an award-winning short documentary about Lancaster’s queer nightlife and drag culture, captured through the lens of trans non-binary artist Brady Pappas.
Moonlight is a deeply moving coming-of-age story that explores identity, connection, vulnerability, and the complexities of growing up queer. Told across three chapters of one young man’s life, the film has become a modern landmark in LGBTQIA+ cinema for its powerful storytelling and emotional depth.
