PRIDE FESTIVAL SAFETY & POLICIES

Entrance Policy & Bag Guidelines

To ensure a smooth and secure entry process, Lancaster Pride allows one approved bag per person, which will be subject to search at the gate. The event entrance is located at the corner of Vine Street and Queen Street.

Approved Bags (One per person):

  • Clear Bags smaller than 12” x 6” x 12”

  • Wallets, fanny packs, and purses smaller than 4” x 6” x 1.5”

  • Medically necessary items, including diaper bags (subject to inspection)

Prohibited Items:

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind

  • Knives or sharp objects

  • Pepper spray or other chemical irritants

  • All other bags not listed above

  • Outside food or drink

  • Signs of any size

  • Pamphlet distribution materials

Removal Policy

Lancaster Pride reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who violates our festival rules, engages in disruptive or abusive behavior, or poses a safety risk. Inappropriate conduct may result in immediate removal without warning, and reentry will not be permitted.

Full Event Policies

To ensure a safe, fun, and pleasurable Pride experience for all of our guests, we ask that everyone follow Lancaster Pride’s Event Policies and Regulations:

  • Pets are not allowed within the Lancaster Convention Center. Service Dogs ARE allowed.

  • Prohibited Items and Behavior

    • Outside food and beverage is not permitted.

    • Abusive, foul or disruptive language or clothing

    • Outside Alcohol

    • Bottles, cans and beverage containers of any kind*

    • Clothing containing wires, batteries or other electronic components

    • Coolers*

    • Drones and any other unmanned and remote-controlled aircraft systems

    • E-cigarettes and Vaporizers

    • Fighting, taunting or threatening remarks or gestures

    • Fireworks, firearms and weapons of any kind

    • Intoxication or other signs of impairment related to alcohol consumption or drug use

    • Laser pointers

    • Noisemakers (including but not limited to air horns, cowbells, whistles and instruments)

    • Signs of ANY size (excluding vendors and sponsors)

    • Smoking (except in designated areas)

    • Throwing objects

    • Trespassing, soliciting, peddling and loitering

    • Verbal or physical harassment of other guests, including opposing team fans

    • Any other item or action deemed dangerous or inappropriate

  • Entrance and Exit Policy

    • Entrance - Vine Street/Queen St Entrance.

    • Exit - Once you leave the premises, you must use either entrance to get back in. All bags must be rescreened prior to reentry.

  • The Lancaster Pride Festival will run from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm. There is no age requirement.

Any violation of Lancaster Pride’s Rules and Regulations or any conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, abusive, harassing, offensive and/or any other action deemed dangerous or inappropriate is grounds for immediate removal from Lancaster Pride without warning. If removed, you will not be allowed to reenter.
